#PFD2023

This year’s Prespa Forum Dialogue 2023 will take place on 15 and 16 June 2023 in Struga, at the splendid scenery of the Lake of Ohrid.

This year’s Forum has a special national and regional significance considering that on 17 June, we will mark a five-year anniversary since the signing of the Prespa Agreement between North Macedonia and Greece.

PFD2023 will be held at times marked by an unprecedented, unprovoked and inhumane war aggression waged by Russia against Ukraine, but also during the Chairpersonship of North Macedonia with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe that has assumed a profound sense of responsibility and ultimate determination to fully engage in safeguarding OSCE principles and commitments and in promoting dialogue and cooperation.

The Forum’s Agenda will include, inter alia, discussions on the pressing regional and European political-security issues, the Western Balkans integration processes to the EU, the perspectives of strengthening regional cooperation and good-neighborly relations, the fight against corruption, etc.

We are confident that the PFD2023 will once again offer a platform for debates, gathering high-level national and international decision-makers and officials, diplomats, prominent personalities of the academic and business community, civil society, and youth organizations’ representatives who will have an excellent opportunity to share, in-person, their analyses, thoughts and ideas on a wide range of regional and international topics.

Looking forward to welcoming you to PFD2023!

ABOUT PFD

The Prespa Forum Dialogue (PFD) is a platform created by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia to enable countries, leaders, organizations, and citizens to build long-term relationships and strengthen partnerships.

Drawing from the results and experiences that contributed North Macedonia to develop into a modern, democratic and multi-ethnic state founded on European values, the PFD aims to inspire and promote good-neighborly relations and cooperation. It is envisioned as a place for exchanging views and ideas on possible solutions to outstanding bilateral issues, thus assisting governments, institutions and the civil society, including the youth, in the consistent implementation of the spirit and letter of the signed bilateral and regional agreements.

The PFD participants will have a unique opportunity, with their discussions, assessments, and proposals, to put a personal stamp to strengthening the stability of the Western Balkans region, to enrich the regional cooperation, and to project a positive image of the region within its European integration and international context.
